Tim O'Neill, CPF® tim@reedarts.com Tim's framing journey started on the wholesale side of things in 1982 as a sawboy for Culver Art & Frame. Curious as to where the frames and mats he was cutting on a daily basis were going, he ventured into retail framing and was the framer for Fifth Avenue Galleries from 1984-1991. He also did a stint as a picture frame moulding sales rep for Century Framing Suppliers for about a year, but realized his talents were better suited to the framing gallery. He accepted a manager's position at Reed Arts in 1992, and in 1993 was invited to become a partner in the business. Tim took over the helm as President of Reed Arts in 2003, and holds the designation of Certified Picture Framer (CPF®), awarded by the Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA®) to individuals who successfully meet rigorous testing of current framing standards. |

Jen Parker jen@reedarts.com I have been with Reed Arts since March 2004. In 2002, I received my B.A. in art and visual communication. I enjoy both the design and hands-on work that custom picture framing offers. I like designing for children’s art as well as pieces geared with the collector in mind. Each work of art offers its own challenges and calls for its own particular methods of framing. I strive to keep in mind the value of long term preservation with any piece of artwork. Preservation and the appearance of the finished framed piece are the most important issues for the picture framer to address. A framed piece of artwork is just as important to the "feel" of a room as is a piece of furniture. I am proud to play a role in making my clients’ homes appear and feel just as they would like. |
